The Value of the Catch Ministry in Today’s Marketplace

Welcome to the vibrant world of the Catch Ministry – where faith transcends boundaries and community knows no borders!

In 2012, forward-thinking leaders recognized that ‘congregations’ around the world were outgrowing their current facilities. Therefore, they ‘purchased’ acreage in cyberspace and incorporated the international faith-based Catch Ministry as a 501(c)(3) cyber church and ministry. Many wondered why they bought property so far away. However, no one is scratching their heads today. The Ministry is extending grace to the largest unreached people group on Earth: the 5.4 billion people active on the Internet.

Governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, we offer a real-time internet ministry of teaching, encouraging, and building up the body of believers. With a passionate force of four hundred volunteers¹, we bridge the gap for the disenfranchised, welcome seekers, and provide personal ‘triages’ to individual members of our community.

Our virtual community transcends the limitations of physical space, fostering genuine relationships and meaningful dialogue in synthetic space. For many people, the ministry is a daily Catch article delivered to their inbox; for some, it is an online environment with virtual (but real) relationships. For many people, it is often a beacon of hope, the only one they can see in their sometimes dire struggle to live out their convictions and their relationships with Christ, and many respond in very personal ways to the hope of a gospel of welcome and connection.

Our Purpose and Vision direct everything we do. We are in the business of developing disciples and discipleship expansion throughout the Catch territory, representing over 143 countries and growing. Over the last few years, we have unleashed over 100,000 ”Boots on the Ground” disciples worldwide. By simple multiplication, we are making real our vision, which is to introduce the Gospel of Welcome — Grace Turned Outward — to Everyone, Everywhere.

The Catch Ministry’s MemberPartners’ indispensable role in this ministry cannot be overstated. Whether through prayer, financial support, or personal involvement, each MemberPartner contributes to the collective impact of our purpose and vision. They are a testament to God’s grace and provision, and we are deeply grateful for the privilege of walking alongside each MemberPartner. Together, we are reshaping tomorrow and building a lasting legacy of faith and love.

We are a living, breathing community of believers united in communion with God and each other. Whether you’re a Boomer, a Gen Z, or anyone in between, there’s a place for you here. Cultivating intergenerational relationships is one of the most important ways the Catch Ministry develops a flourishing faith in both young and old. This means changing the metaphor from simply passing the baton to the next generation to a more functional, biblical picture of the body — the entire community.

We’re transforming lives and spreading hope to every corner of the globe. With over 2,275 people engaging daily, our reach extends far beyond traditional church walls. Examples of our expanded territory include the community’s Sunday Church at the Catch, where attendees numbering 600 people or six generations sit side by side to worship and hear the teaching of the Word; our international bible studies; podcasts feasturing renowned guests; membership relationships; a 24/7 interactive prayer and counseling ministry; and connecting our Catch community to our vast network of local ministries.

Volunteer Force
Four hundred professionally trained volunteers operate the Catch Ministry cyber church. They are focused on developing and implementing the Catch Ministry’s program and enlisting other volunteers to support the interactive prayer ministry, the one-on-one counseling, the “boots on the ground” discipleship programs, and other programs and services. It ramps up and down implemented programs in conjunction with developed marketing strategies and program requirements.

Growth Initiatives
We stand united in our belief that Millennials are the trailblazers of a new era. However, as the gap widens between the principles of our Christian faith and the evolving demands of modern culture, Millennials seek relationships to bridge this divergence and integrate their faith meaningfully into the complexities of contemporary life.
As Millennials grapple with feelings of isolation and uncertainty, there’s a pressing need for intergenerational connection and understanding. It’s time for all of us to emerge from our complacency and embrace our roles as trailblazers as well in navigating this uncharted terrain.
